I gave up my job as a Mathematics teacher at Brentwood School to become a vegetarian caterer in 1980.
My aim is to impress as many taste buds as possible with international gourmet vegetarian food using healthy ingredients such as handpicked wild food, fresh fruit and vegetables and high quality wholefoods.
During 2020, with the onset of coronavirus, I have had to diversify as I can no longer cater at buffets and festivals.
I have an extensive price list of wholefoods which I can send by email. Wholefoods not on this list can easily be obtained as I have weekly deliveries. The list includes dried fruit, nuts, seeds, pulses, grains, flour, soya chunks, herbs and spices.
I can make dishes such as nut roasts, quiches, pies, breads, dips, salads, curries and desserts. I cater well for vegan and gluten-free diets. I have a price list for cooked food which I can send by email.
I am having daily deliveries of wholesale fruit and vegetables which I am selling on at cost price and I am happy to split boxes so that I am able to use such produce more widely for my cooked food dishes and for home consumption. I do not have a list of these products as my supplier can bring me any product found at Spitalfields Market and prices vary from day to day.
To make an order it is most desirable to ring to establish the availability of products etc or to email an order including a phone number.
Orders can be picked up from my home at any time keeping to the government guidelines on social distancing or I can deliver free of charge within a 5 mile radius.
Even when things return to normal (the new normal) I shall continue to provide orders for people who want to shop less at supermarkets.
I have weekend garage sales of food ready to go in tubs (£3 a tub) on various themes and these run from 10am-5pm. Just turn up or pre-order if you wish.
